The National Network of Local Driving Schools

No matter what age you are, learning to drive is an exciting process and thanks to our huge network of qualified UK driving instructors, you're one step closer to finding the right driving school for you.

When you're looking to book your first lesson or block of lessons, there are some important questions you should ask any potential driving instructor;

Pass rates

Everyone wants to pass their driving test first time so when you've found our instructors in your local area, give them all a call and ask what their first time pass rates are for the practical driving test.

Instructor grade

You should also ask what grade your potential instructor holds. The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) awards every approved instructor a grade from 4 to 6 when they qualify, with a grade 6 being the highest standard.

Instructors and vehicles

If you have a preference as to whether you'd like to be taught to drive by a male or female driving instructor then feel free to ask any of our schools if they can meet this requirement.

Not all of the driving schools in our national network have a selection of manual and automatic tuition cars so if you'd prefer not to have to learn how to change gear and use the clutch, then ask if they have any dedicated instructors and vehicles for pupils who want to get an automatic driving license.

So now you know what to ask, use our search function to find a list of your local driving instructors and get your first lesson booked in.

Choosing a driving school tip: To make sure your driving school instructor is someone you feel comfortable with, book one lesson with them initially before deciding to book a block of driving lessons.
